Famagusta – the oldest city in the eastern part of Cyprus, founded in the III century BC. e. For many centuries Famagusta was one of the main port cities of the Mediterranean. Earlier here was the residence of King Richard the Lionheart. And in the last century the city was a prestigious resort for recreation.
