St. Andreas Wall
Maximum depth:
40
Type of dive:
wall/cave
Average depth:
30
This dive site is located about two miles from the St. Andreas Monastery. After descending slowly along the anchor line you will note the excellent visibility of 30 meters and little if any current. As you approach the bottom of the wall at the 38 meter mark you will find an interesting cave. Here you will begin to encounter an abundance of aquatic life:schools of large grouper, parrot fish and jack fish, large ear sponges, octopus, seabream, and periodic sightings of the lovely dolphins ranging up to 2.5 meters in length, loggerhead and green sea turtles. It is recommended for the experienced diver.
